Rural Internet

Rural internet coverage, county by county

Pick a state, then your county. Every page is built from the FCC's Broadband Data Collection: how many addresses can get fiber, cable or fixed wireless, how many can get nothing, and what changed in the last year.

Why counties and not ZIP codes

ZIP codes are postal delivery routes. They are not areas, they change without notice, and the FCC does not report coverage by them. Counties are stable, they are the geography the data is actually published in, and they are small enough in rural America to mean something. Where a county is large enough that one number hides real differences, the page says so.
